The Developments of Turkey

How has Turkey developed? 

     The Turkish Republic:

Turkish Republic in the last decade has seen tremendous changes including all aspects of life. Its economy has developed, also its domestic outputs and exports increased which made Turkey to be referred to as one of the strongest economies in the world. What are the main developments in Turkey? How did Turkey take this place on the map as one of the developed Nations?

 The Aspects of the Evolution of Turkish Republic:

      There are lots of aspects of Turkish Republic which affected either negatively or positively on its existence globally and locally, some of these aspects are:

• The Political aspect

      Turkey has developed politically as having the right of freedom which made it compete with the best democratic countries in the world, after  having the army controlled  the political life for decades, civil forces were able to gain power and  elected their democratic Government. Since 2002 AK could form a parliamentary majority that allowed him to form a Government also to win the Presidency of the Republic and to have the authorities of changing the military leaders and the appointment of members of the Supreme Constitutional Court.

The Turkish Republic has become an example and model in democracy and power-sharing, and enabling people to choose their representatives freely, and no doubt that positive political climate that paved the way for developments and changes for the better in all the joints of the State.

• The Economic aspect:

​        Turkey evolved economically when the total debt in one of the past years was  thirty-five of GDP. After 2002, the Turkish Government has managed to pay its public debt fully, but also it was able to lend to The World Bank.

The gross domestic Process (GDP) rose from 180 billion dollars to nearly 800 billion dollars in 2012. Per capita of GDP increased to nearly five times than it was. 

Commercial life evolved and exports increased to nearly 300 billion dollars. Turkish currency strengthened value increased because of rational economic policies in fighting inflation and encouraging local and foreign investment as there is in Turkey nearly thirty thousand factories specialized in various Types of industries. 

• Health care and education

      After the Turkish citizen suffers terribly to get access to health services, the number of hospitals and health centers increased to cover all parts of the Republic.The Turkish government focused on improving the quality of education and support through a separate budget allocation has amounted to 30 billion dollars.

• Touristic aspect

        Turkey became one of the most important tourist destinations in the world with their distinctive resorts and the wonderful tourist services.
