A lot of people have insomnia and difficulties in sleeping. They lie in bed for hours and they are not able to fall asleep. There are techniques that may help you to fall asleep quickly, as the following:
- Eating Calcium
- Perfume smell
- Stop breathing
- Muscle Stretch
- Standing on one leg
- Blue color
- Feet massage
1. Eating Calcium:
Researchers assert that the Nervous System helps relaxing, which contributes for quickly and deep sleep, so it’s advised to drink one glass of warm milk because it contains a lot of calcium. Try to eat 100mg from calcium supplementation before an hour from sleeping in case you don’t like dairy products.
2. Perfume Smell:
It seems from several studies that Jasmine smell is one of the strongest smells that help to sleep. Studies show that the people who are exposed to jasmine smell are fast to fall asleep from those who sniff lavender perfume or they don’t smell any kind of perfumes. Furthermore, when they wake up they feel more energetic in their day.
3. Stop Breathing:
If you want to sleep quickly, try to take a deep breath then stop breathing for 10 seconds, and repeat this for more than one time .Studies have shown that this movement reduces the activity of brain waves and makes them reach the stages that usually occur in the early stages before sleep.
4. Muscle Stretch:
The researchers declare that stretching the muscle five times and relax can help you to go to sleep because it requires you to focus your attention in part of your body in each time, which frees your body from the effort and it makes it relaxed.
5. Standing on One Leg:
Standing on one leg for 30 seconds is a silly and strange movement, but it’s so useful. Your brain puts all its task aside when you put all your concentration to stay balanced, and the result is relaxation, rest, and serenity. Besides, this helps you to fall asleep quickly and have pleasant dreams.
6. Blue Color:
Some researches assert that blue color helps the body relaxing, so be careful to paint your walls in light blue color. Make your quilt blue too.
7. Feet Massage:
We often hear that the foot is a place where all the points associated with the brain are concentrated. A mere pressing on the soles of your toes for 30 seconds can help you get into sleep fast. The reason is that the soles of the toes are directly connected to the brain. The stimulation process leads to calmness and relaxation.
